Sohonet Ultra-High-Speed Network Connects Animal Logic’s Los Angeles office with HQ in Sydney, Australia
Sohonet, the first and largest high bandwidth connector for the global entertainment industry, has completed installation for the Los Angeles office of Animal Logic, one of the world's most highly respected digital production companies.
"We felt that bringing our Los Angeles office online with Sohonet was important for it to be able to function seamlessly with our headquarters in Australia,” said Alex Timbs, Head of I.T. at Animal Logic. “The connection also enables other clients on Sohonet to work with us in an economic and secure fashion."
Through Sohonet, which provides secure, ultra-high-speed connectivity of up to 1 Gigabit per second, Animal Logic’s LA office can quickly and easily transfer uncompressed data to its studios in Australia. Additionally, they are now connected to the Sohonet client network and able to liaise with all subscribers on the system, which include Warner Bros, Universal, HBO, and Pinewood and Shepperton Studios (UK) among many others.
