Sohonet Delivery Calculator Available
The Sohonet website now contains a new tool by popular demand - a calculator to estimate how long it will take to send your material across the Sohonet network. Designed to be simple to use for production staff the amount of material can be entered either as minutes of picture quality or in Mbytes of data. Selecting bandwidth provides an easy way to see how much faster transfers can be made at higher bandwidth, making it easier to plan ahead and budget.
Note that the calculator only works for Sohonet connections. Transfers across the internet will take significantly longer, and will be unpredictable. Only Sohonet offers a transfer speed guarantee that allows these calculations to be made with complete confidence.
