Sohonet Purchases Australian Based Company FIBRE Pty Ltd
In Australia we have been working for the last year or so with a group FIBRE Pty Ltd, who were set up to promote broadband usage within the film and television industry in the region. To expand it was clear that they needed to make a sizable investment in infrastructure, and we are very pleased that Sohonet has acquired FIBRE Pty Ltd, providing us with an established base in the region.
We are now working hard to build the network in Australia that will allow seamless integration between Sohonet clients there and anywhere in the world. As part of our commitment down there we are also looking at improving the capabilities to New Zealand.
